Pritchard & Abbott, Inc., has many years experience of converting records
from paper source documents into electronic form (i.e., CD-Rom, hard disk, or
optical disk). P&A archival technology meets or exceeds all rules and
procedures established by the Texas Archives Commission for local government
effective since March 1993.
P&A provides scanning software as well as software that will
capture IBM AS400 network server reports electronically to archive your
documents. P&A scanning service allows the client several options:
-
Purchase Hardware and Software from P&A
-
Receive Scanning Training from P&A
-
Let P&A Scan All Documents for You into the Format of Your Choice
For customers who use an IBM AS400 server, all reports can be stored on CD-Rom
by use of P&A's PACRAT program (Pritchard
& Abbott CD-Rom
Archival Technology).
In fact, with this technology the client can even choose not to print reports
at all. More flexible indexing allows the user to reference the material by
multiple criteria. In many cases, a full year of data can be stored on just one
CD, giving the whole office the ability to view documents at the same time.
